Design
We will prepare the design and layout to meet your needs, and prepare the business cards or certificates.
Are you going to create the design yourself? Here are the requirements on how you should prepare a layout for print.
How to prepare a layout for print:
- The file type of the layout must be in .cdr, .eps, .ai, .psd or .pdf format;
- Resolution of raster graphical elements 300 dpi;
- Use CMYK colour model;
- Texts must be converted to curves;
- Layout dimensions 88.6×57 mm (dimensions of cut plastic cards are 85.6×54 mm);
- Leave 1.5 mm for margins;
- Minimum distance from the text to the line of cut 2 mm;
- Gradients will be smoother if you convert them into bitman in vector graphics software;
- The magnetic strip is 12 mm wide, 4 mm from the top of the card layout with margins;
- If you create the layout for ID cards with changing information (names etc.), you only have to create and submit one layout-template;
- Personalised information (numbering, barcode numbering, encoding for magnetic strip, changing names, etc.) must be submitted in Excel file;
- Indicate the preferred font type and size for personalised information – numbers and names (if they are not embossed) (e.g. Arial, bold, 12 pt).
